Jorge earned his law degree from the Universidad Dr. José Simeón Cañas (UCA) in October 2004. He was later authorized by the Supreme Court of Justice to practice law and as a public notary. He earned a postgraduate degree in Consumer Laws and Internet Data Protection from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2007, and a master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from the Instituto Seneca de Madrid in 2010.

 

Jorge started working for law firms in 1996, as a paralegal. He then joined the firm Romero Pineda & Asociados in 1999, where he worked for the Intellectual Property Department on administrative trademark oppositions and patent and copyright registrations. Later, he entered the Litigation Department. As the Litigation Department Manager, he was in charge of civil, mercantile, labor and family law trials, criminal trials related to intellectual property and corporations, constitutional appeals before the Supreme Court of Justice and other administrative procedures before various government entities.

 

Also, Jorge has been a professor of Civil Law and Mercantile Law at the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador since 2013.

ISOLINA CRISTELIA PORTILLO DE ORTIZ NOLASCO

Isolina earned her law degree from the Universidad Francisco Gavidia of El Salvador in 2017.

 

She worked as an administrative assistant in banking institutions and as assistant and paralegal in mayor law firms, where she gained extensive experience in human resources, accounting, contracts y debt collection procedures.


Isolina joined our firm in December 2015. She manages labor and debt collection judicial procedures, product registration before the health authorities, and is a key member of our civil and mercantile litigation team.

She is currently studying to obtain her degree as a publica accountant.
